ABSTRACT
Metro has become the theme of urban public traffic. It occupies an increasingly
important position in urban residents' daily travel. Modern urban metro operation
has features with high load, large passenger flow, complicated technical equipment and
h i g h l y s p e c i a l i z e d. Th e m e t r o I S C S (I n t e g r a t e d S u p e r v i s o r y C o n t r o l
S y s t e m) u s e s c o m p u t e r t e c h n o l o g y, n e t w o r k t e c h n o l o g y, a u t o m a t i o n t e c h n o l o g y a n d
i n f o r m a t i o n t e c h n o l o g y t o a c h i e v e r e a l - t i m e c e n t r a l i z e d m o n i t o r i n g o f
e l e c t r o m e c h a n i c a l e q u i p m e n t , a n d t o a c h i e v e s y s t e m s c o o r d i n a t i o n
lin kage. At the same tim e, the c e n t r a l disp a t chers c o l l ect a l l t he stat ions' moni to r i n g
i n f o r m a t i o n t o g e t h e r , a n d p e r f o r m v a r i o u s o p e r a t i o n s a n d m a n a g e m e n t t h r o u g h a
g r a p h i c a l u s e r i n t e r f a c e , s o a s t o p r o t e c t t h e m e t r o ' s s a f e a n d e f f e c t i v e
operation. At present, we are lack of experience in metro ISCS' design, installation and
o p e r a t i o n , t h e m a j o r i t y o f t h e I S C S ' i m p l e m e n t a t i o n a r e n o t i d e a l , t h e r e a r e m a n y
loopholes in the management, therefore, it plays a very important role in discussing the
m e t r o I S C S ' p r o p e r o p e r a t i o n a n d m a n a g e m e n t i n a t a r g e t e d
manner.
The paper start s from studying the ISCS cu rrent application status at home and
broad, then, it gives a case of a certain city which the ISCS is now using in metro’s daily
o p e r a t i o n . I t i s f o c u s o n s t u d y i n g h o w t h e I S C S e l i m i n a t e o p e r a t i o n f a i l u r e s a n d
improve the operation reliability. The main work of this paper is as follows:
1、A c c o r d i n g t o t h e m e t r o ' s o p e r a t i o n a n d m a n a g e m e n t f e a t u r e s ,
the paper focus on analyzing the main targets which ISCS services for.
2、T h e pa p er a n a ly z e s t h e m al f u n c ti o n an d r i s k a c c id e n t w h i c h m a y oc c u r in
metro ISCS, and then, according to each accident, it designs corresponding work
processes to eliminate faulty processes.
3、The paper analysis the reliability of ISCS , then , builds a model for it. Form
that, it find the key factor. After further analyzing of the ISCS’ redundancy function of
application level in the metro daily operation and management, it presents a application
l e v e l r e d u n d a n c y p r o g r a m o f I S C S , w h i c h i s b a s e d o n F E P ( F r o n t E n d
Processor), workstation, server's redundancy.
4、The paper takes the implementation and operation of ISCS which being used in
metro line 1 of a certain city for example. This case proves that, when using ISCS in the
metro, it indeed greatly improves the risks' management, significantly reducing the fault
h a n d l i n g t i m e , s h o r t e n t h e m a n a g e m e n t p r o c e s s e s , e n h a n c e t h e
efficiency.
